Pianist Mary Prescott is the Founder, CEO, and Artistic Director of Lyra Music. Additionally, she is on faculty teaching piano, chamber music, and music history.
The Lyra Music Festival & Workshop is a 3-week intensive course from July 3 - July 23, 2016. Music students of all ages and levels are immersed in a supportive, conservatory-style environment; intensively study solo and chamber music repertoire; and share their performances with the surrounding community -- all within a fun and energetic atmosphere.
The workshop is held in the beautiful and charming town of Northampton, MA -- hosted by Smith College. Students will find Smith's wonderful music building, brimming with Steinway grand pianos, the perfect place to hone their skills!
