A performance of new work that Mary Prescott will develop during a residency with the Fine Arts Center is expected to take the form of an evening-length interdisciplinary performance involving music, movement, text and video.
Prescott’s new piece will examine the ways in which environments shape culture, ritual, and belief systems, and imagine how our contemporary environments and technologies may influence societies and beliefs in the future.
